Timboon
Only minutes from the coast of Port Campbell, Timboon is situated in the heart of dairy country. Set amongst natural bushlands, rolling hills and lush pastures Timboon is particularly known for its various food and wine producers including Timboon L'Artisan Cheese, Newton's Ridge Winery, Timboon Railshed Distillery and Timboon Fine Ice Cream. A popular spot for nature lovers, Timboon is set on the Power Creek Reserve. The reserve is positioned amidst a mature native forest, but directly adjacent to Timboon shops, Power Creek Reserve in Bailey Street is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal with the family. Barbeque and picnic facilities are available and there is a playground for the children.

Timboon is home to a variety of sporting and recreation clubs including football, netball, basketball, cricket and bowls. It has a number of facilities including a golf course, swimming pool and sports stadium. Timboon is a popular walking spot for locals and tourists particularly along the Timboon Rail Trail that runs through to Camperdown. The walk is in total 34kms and is divided into various sections.

Timboon acts as a service centre for Port Campbell and includes public primary and secondary schools, as well as pre-school facilities. The township has a general medical clinic and public hospital as well as aged care residential facilities and maternal child and health centre.
